We
have recently made major advances in automatic dictionary compilation.
Our solutions have been tested and evaluated in
compiling a comprehensive Swahili-to-English
dictionary. We can
also provide frequency information for each head word of a dictionary.
Note that our high performance disambiguator based on grammatical rules
makes it possible to give precise frequency information also for head words
with identical form but with different meaning.
